Dr. Carol F. Morgan, DDS – Virginia TMJ Dentist

Dr. Carol F. Morgan graduated with honors from the University of Richmond in 1991 with a bachelor of science degree in Biology. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Medical College of Virginia (MCV) School of Dentistry in 1995. Dr. Morgan received her certificate in Advanced General Dentistry from MCV in 1996, and has been practicing in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia ever since.

Dental school educates a dentist to gain the minimum level of competency to pass the dental boards. The science of dentistry changes on an almost daily basis. The only way a dentist can stay on the cutting edge of dentistry is to continue to expand his or her education through continuing learning education classes (CE) or attending post-graduate teaching facilities.

Dr. Morgan values continuing education (CE). She and her entire office staff dedicate many hours annually to advancing their education in the latest materials, equipment and techniques in the dental field, ensuring that you receive state-of-the-art care and expertise.

Dr. Morgan is also a fellow of the esteemed Las Vegas Institute (LVI) for Advanced Dental Studies. LVI is a post-graduate teaching facility that trains dentists in cosmetic (or aesthetic) and neuromuscular dentistry. Dr. Morgan is highly educated in occlusion (bite), Temporomandibular disorders TMJ/TMD, and full mouth reconstruction.

Dr. Morgan treats many patients with Temporomandibular disorders TMJ/TMD,  migraine headaches, jaw pain, and neck pain. The vast majority of Dr. Morgan’s patients come from referral from previous patients, other dentists to include periodontists, oral surgeons and general dentists, and other health care professionals to include chiropractors, neurologists and physiatrists (pain management doctors).
